Bryon G Colborne

Bryon G. Colborne, age 56, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in his home. He is the beloved husband of 32 years of Colleen (Frendberg) Colborne and proud father of Gary Colborne. Bryon was born in New Haven on September 10, 1969, son of the late Gary Colborne and Sandra Geist, and lived in Shelton for the past 25 years. He met Colleen, the love of his life, when he was a teenager. Through his son Gary, he embraced a profound joy in fatherhood.

Bryon worked as a repairman for Allstate Convenyor Service. He loved spending time with his family and playing video games with Gary. Bryon also enjoyed playing the guitar, and his musical tastes hadn't changed since 1992. He was also a long suffering Raiders fan.

In addition to his wife Colleen and son Gary, Bryon is survived by two brothers, David and Paul Colborne, a sister Michelle Colborne, his step-mother, Susan Colborne, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Julie Meagher.

Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are encouraged towards Gary's future education through the funeral home.
