Janet Renae (Hobbs) Coombe, 54, of Bald Knob, entered into Heaven on Thursday, November 21, 2024. She was born on January 1, 1970, in Searcy, Arkansas, to the late Larry Wayne Hobbs and Phyllis Ann (Jones) Hobbs. She married, Wesley Coombe, the father of her children in the fall of 1988. Janet graduated college from Arkansas State University – Newport in 1994, and was valedictorian of her class. She spent her life working as an LPN and found her purpose in helping others in their time of need. Janet also had a great love for the outdoors; being outside and enjoying all nature and its beauty was something she could be found doing in her spare time.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Hannah Mims, Sarah Coombe, and Cynthia Coombe; three granddaughters, Makynzie, Londyn, and Sophia Mims; brother, Jamey Hobbs; sister, Frances Little; her two nieces, Tessa Wells and Kayla Wells; and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bill Jones and Colleen Bayles; paternal grandparents, Tom and Lou Hobbs.
Memorial service December 9, 2024 @ 5:00pm. Hopewell Community Church in Bald Knob.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net
