janet was a kind, thoughtful person. the first time i met her, she brought me a flashlight and a battery operated candle because there was storm coming with predicted power outages. she would often cook for me or offer me food she got "extra" at the grocery store, buy me items she thought were useful (pepper spray), even give me clothes or things she said she no longer needed or wanted, but she thought i could use. her passing deeply saddens me. i realize, for over a year, that her health had been impacted, but she was such a tough lady. i hope she is at peace. i think of her often. my condolences to the family.
