Janet Pate Fiske, aged 69, went home to be with the Lord early Thursday morning, February 22, 2024. She passed peacefully at home with her beloved dog Bruce by her side. Born and raised in Greer SC, Janet is a Greer High Graduate of the Class of 1972. She faithfully supported Greer High Yellow Jacket Football her entire life. Upon Graduating High School, she entered the workforce at State Auto and worked for many years until her retirement, making many lifelong friends. Janet was a lover of nature and especially enjoyed trips to the mountains and long rides with her beloved Husband Leslie. Janet was preceded in death by her parents J.W. and Christine B Pate, a sister Mary Anne Addyman, and her special dog Sadie.
Janet is survived by her Husband of 36 years Leslie E. Fiske, Daughter Jessica Rochester, Son and Daughter-in-Law Daniel B. and Heather Fiske, her two precious Grandbabies Piper and Collier Fiske, her son Jeremy Fiske, her sister Sandra Jones, her Best Friend Deborah Wright and numerous Nephews and Cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm and the Service will start at 4:00 pm. We ask that you wear Bright and Festive colors to help us Celebrate her life and say Goodbye. Flowers can be sent to Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church at 2200 Mays Bridge Rd. Greer, SC 29651 beginning at 1 pm the day of the service. Donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
