GRISCOM, Janet W., 76, of Carolina Shores, N.C., died Monday, July 8, 2013 in the McLeod Loris Hospital, S.C. Born in Camden, N.J. on October 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Hilda Kushall Wich. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph M. Griscom. Surviving are her two sons, Ralph J. Griscom of Carolina Shores, N.C., Eric C. Griscom and wife, Karen, of Chester, Va.; daughter, Dr. Gabrielle G. "Kori" Jackson and husband, David, of Gladys, Va.; brother, Peter Wich of Covelo, Calif.; sister, Elanie Murawski of Humble, Texas; two grandchildren, Allyson Allen and Alex Griscom; and three great-grandchildren, Sterling Akers, Logan Allen and Faye Johnson. A celebration of life will be conducted Friday, July 12, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. at her home, #11 Court 10, Carolina Shores, N.C.
