Janet Hall

JANET CLAYTON HALL age 89 of Crossville, TN passed away peacefully at her home February 27, 2026. Janet was born March 3, 1936 in Meadville, PA the daughter of Dallas and Harriett Jones Clayton. She married Donald Hall who was the love of her life on November 2, 1955. They moved to Boca Raton, FL where they raised their three sons and owned and operated Lewis Brothers Hardware.

They always loved vacationing in Tennessee, where they bought their dream farm in Crossville. Jan attended Crossville Nazarene Church. She was also known for her role at First National Bank here in Crossville where made many friends were made during her time there. She retired after years of service to our community.

She is survived by her sons- Darrell Hall and his wife Vickie and Michael Hall and his wife Tammy, daughter-n-law- Preston Hall, grandchildren- Kristin Kiley and husband Kevin, Sarah Kerley and husband Brandon, Jeffrey Hall, Christian Hall, Meredith Hall, Hannah Rice and husband Bradley, Emmaline Hall and companion Zac Littleton and Clayton Hall and wife Kennedy and great grandchildren- Ava, Parker and Leo Kiley, Nellie and Riley Kerley, Isla and Clark Rice and Clarence, Declan and Avery Hall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband- Donald Hall, son- Jeff Hall and sister- Joanie Lawrence

The family would like to give a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and Affordable Assist for all their guidance and care.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday March 20, 2026 at 2pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1pm-2pm one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
