Janet Hein, 83, of Oakes, ND passed away October 14, 2024 at Essentia Health in Fargo.
She was born on March 2, 1941 to Herman and Goldie (Konkler) Schnieder at Oakes, ND where she grew up and attended school. She married Arvid Iverson December 24, 1958. To this union Laine, Duane, David and DeAnn were born. On February 1, 1973, she was united in marriage to Marvin Hein. Together they had a son Michael. Janet worked at The Ark, Kelsen's Bakery and she was employed for many years in the dietary department at the Oakes Good Samaritan Society until she retired.
A weekly hi-light for Janet was getting together with Jean Schmaltz, Janice Bertsch and Rose Schlader for Wednesday night marbles. She also enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, reading the National Enquirer, holidays and feeding the squirrels. What Janet loved the most was spending time with her family. Janet's biggest worry was getting to Amy's to have her hair done every Friday.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin, son David Iverson, daughter Deann Hutchinson, sister Mary Ella Schultz and grandson Matthew Iverson.
