Janet E. Janderchick

Janet E. (Henry) Janderchick, 68, of Reading, PA, passed away on October 19, 2024, at St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Gene A. Janderchick, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage until his passing on February 21, 2014.
Born on October 16, 1956, in Pottstown, PA, Janet was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Henry and Veronica E. (Bauer) Henry.
Janet is survived by her children, Bridget (& Nick) Rakowski, Becky (& Kyle) Jones, Jason Smith, and Jen (& Ron) McCalpine; her stepdaughter, Becky Soto; and her 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Janet is also survived by her companion, Charles Reininger; and her siblings, Joan Hoffman, Joe Henry, Mike Henry, and Ron Henry.
In addition to her husband and parents, Janet was predeceased by her son, Doug Smith Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Ave., Pottstown, PA 19464.
