Jan was born June 13, 1951 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of William and Marianne (Sherman) Comiskey. She married her husband of 53 years, John Kaiser, on November 27, 1970 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Brighton. They went on to have 3 sons. She was employed as a physical therapy assistant where she formed solid friendships with many associates. Jan was a passionate participant and gave 100% to her pursuits. Most importantly, she was a dedicated and loving mother who immersed herself in raising her boys. She followed her family genetics as a lighthearted prankster and everyone she met knows and will remember her infectious laugh. Her interests were many and she was actively involved in things including aerobics instruction, healthy eating, walking and exercising, the practice of Reiki, living up to the philosophy of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, scuba diving, boating, bowling, wood carving, collecting green glassware, jewelry making, treasure hunting at Salvation Army and laughing. She is beloved by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers alike. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 9th at 6pm, with Visitation from 4-7pm at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, MacDonald's Chapel of Howell. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. You may visit Jan's online guestbook at www.watkinsbrothersfuneralhomes.com.
