Janet Keszler Obituary
January 14, 1939 – June 18, 2023
Janet Lee Keszler, age 84, of Fairview, Texas, passed away on June 18th peacefully in her sleep. Jan was born in Monroe, MI. She met her husband, Charles, in Tucson AZ where they gave birth to their son. She lived the majority of her life in the Dallas, TX area where she enjoyed practicing Tai Chi and made lasting friendships. She adored her time with family and friends and always had the biggest smile when she was with them. She loved being outdoors and often spent quiet time with her pet dog, Glory, basking in the sun.
Jan is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Charles, three sisters, Terry Olesek (Paul), Nancy Levgard, and Vivian Puig (Richard), three brothers, Jack McGovern, Pat McGovern (Rose) and Jim McGovern (Barbara), her two children, Chuck Keszler (Kelly) and Kim Pinson, her four grandchildren, Rachel Thwing (James), Christopher Pinson, Danny Keszler and Andrew Keszler and her great-grandson Remi Thwing.
Preceding her in death were her parents Annetta and John McGovern, sisters Donna Sharkey, Vickie Bilek and Carol Borgen, and brother Mike McGovern.
Funeral service will be held at the National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211 on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 9:00 AM.
Reception for friends and family at the home of Kim Pinson at 5101 Highland Drive, Plano, TX at 11:00 AM

If you look up the definition of beautiful it should simply say Janet Keszler. Jan found the goodness in everyone she knew. She looked past all of our faults and made us all better people by having her in our lives. Please let her beauty live on by concentrating on the goodness in each other. I was so blessed to have Jan not only as my sister but also as my friend. Sending love and condolences to all who knew Jan, all of our hearts are aching.
