Janet Lorraine entered this world in Hoisington, Kansas on December 4, 1936, the oldest of five children born to Leo and LaVina Peil. The family moved to Omaha when she was a child, where she was a lifelong resident. She began her elementary Education at St Paul Lutheran School, and secondary education at North High School, graduating in 1955. Janet met Larry Krenzer at North High School to later marry in September of 1956.
Janet lived a lifetime of love, devotion and service to others. She was a devoted mother to her four daughters. Pamela Barr, Kathleen Perdue, Christy (Randy) Lush, Carolyn (Randy) Golden, and cherished each of them with boundless love and care. Over the years her family has grown to include 11 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, all of whom she adored deeply. Her legacy continues through the love and wisdom she passed down to each generation.
Janet was an avid seamstress, where she created numerous beautiful quilts and heirloom pieces that her family will continue to treasure for years to come.
A woman of Enduring Faith, Janet devoted much of her life to serving Our Lord through the Lutheran Church. She was deeply committed to her faith, volunteering her time and talents to many organizations throughout the community. Whether through her Church, or her community, Janet's selflessness and compassion touched many hearts.
Janet loved to Golf with the many friends that were created over the years on the course. She leaves behind a legacy of Love, Faith, and Community that will live on in all who were touched by knowing her.
Janet has joined her loving Husband of 46 years, Larry D. Krenzer, Her Parents Leo and LaVina Peil, brother, Captain Gary Peil, Many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, and Son in Law, that have gone before her in Heaven. She has left behind her siblings Carol Trombley, John Peil, and Kathy Griffin, in addition to her daughters.
Visitation 4:00 - 6:00p.m., Thursday, July 17 at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th St., Omaha.
Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 18 at Zion West Lutheran Church, 14205 Ida St, Omaha.
Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
