Janet Ann Lara, 85 of Penn Hills passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 after a short illness. She was a loving wife and mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Daughter of the late Stephen and Barbara Vano of Natrona. She leaves behind her husband Michael Lara of 65 years, two daughters, Michaelene Lara and Michelle Lara, two sons, Steven (Cara) Lara and Brian (Susan) Lara. Grandmother of Jessica Bouvy, Katie Bianco, Rachel Johnston, and Madison Lara. Great-Grandmother of Jaxson (age 11), Jacob (age 8), Emma (age 7), Wyatt, (age 5) and Maci (age 1) Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 11, 12 Noon Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Catholic Church) Entombment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville
