Janet Marie Larson

Janet Marie Larson Age 80, of Rice Lake, WI, died Saturday August 30, 2025 at her home. She was born on August 20, 1945 in Rice Lake to Edward and Esther (Tangwall) Kraskey. Janet graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1963 and then she attended Vocational School for Cosmetology. She owned and operated Janet's Beauty Salon as a hairdresser, Cray Research and McCain Foods for many years. Janet was married to Roger Larson on June 22, 2001 in Bloomer, WI. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking. Janet will be remembered for her beauty, personality and her smile. She is survived by her husband, Roger Larson; 4 children, Kathleen (Gary) Tomesh, Elizabeth (James) Graf, Cheryl (Rick) Nordeen and Mary (Tom) Hetzel; a stepdaughter, Stacy Liebrich; a stepdaughter-in-law, Lisa Larson; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; a step great grandson; a sister, Lois Uchytil; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Doug Larson; a step son-in-law, Adam Liebrich; and her parents, Edward and Esther Kraskey. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Stanfold Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, Rev. John Bergson officiating, with interment in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Cumberland, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
