Janet Louise Martin, born on January 6, 1961, in Belmont, NC, passed away peacefully at her home in Lincolnton, NC, on September 17, 2025. She was 64 years old.
Janet was a loving mother to her daughters, Ashley Gunter (Dakota Abernathy) and Jennifer Martin; brother, Billy Bradley Wise; sisters, Nancy Bradley, Nora Bradley, and Vanessa Bradley; and granddaughter, Penelope Abernathy, who will always cherish the memories of their time with her. Known for her warmth and kindness, Janet dedicated her life to creating a loving home and nurturing her family.
A spirited soul who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, Janet will be missed deeply by those who knew her, she adored her granddaughter. She had a natural ability to brighten the lives of others, and her laughter will echo in the hearts of her family and friends. She grew up in Eagle Mill Hill, Belmont. She was also a great cook, and had many great recipes.

Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Smith Bradley; brother, James Bradley; and nephew, Jason Aldridge.
