Janet Leota Mullen Lantz Myers Pennington Maxwell – depending on when you knew her - passed away on March 5, 2026, at the wonderful old age of 93. While she spent her last years at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, Virginia, she was happy and comfortable almost to the end. Janet lost her first husband in 1953, her father in 1968, and her son Mathew David Myers in 1977 – all to motor vehicle accidents. Known for her resilience through these and many other hardships, Janet kept moving forward. She was the last remaining member of her immediate family and leaves behind a large family, including her son Paul Myers, and daughters Beth Roach, Tina Borger, and Tanya Myers, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
