Janet Delores Pinks, 95, of Lander, Wyoming died on October 30, 2024, in the Sage West Riverton, Riverton, Wyoming. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 27, 2024, in the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander, Wyoming.
Janet Delores Dahlberg was born on November 28, 1928, to Daniel and Amanda Olson Dahlberg in Aurora, Illinois. Janet was a consummate homemaker. She loved crocheting, baking, and gardening, but she also loved hunting, fishing, camping, and just being outside.
She married Victor Pinks, Sr. in Aurora, Illinois on November 14, 1948, and with this union had 6 children. Her and her husband were members of the Illinois Beekeeper Association, Epsilon Sigma Alpha Philanthropic Group Lander, Wyoming, Loveland Colorado Wildlife Club, Wyoming Wildlife Federation, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
After getting her GED she attended Waubonsee Community College, in Aurora, Illinois, and then continued her education.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Pinks, Sr.; son, Curtis Pinks; parents, Daniel and Amanda Olson Dahlberg; and numerous siblings.
Survivors include children: daughter, Ginger Pinks of Germantown, Tennessee; daughter, Melody (David) Moody of Lander, Wyoming; daughter, Kristie (Ray) Knapp of Arizona, grandchildren, Robert and Jessica; son, Victor (Bonnie) Pinks, Jr. of Illinois; daughter, Renee (Steve) Brown of Illinois, grandchildren, Josh and Jake; granddaughter, Shannon Moody, great-granddaughters, Madeline and Lila; grandson, Justin (Beverly) Moody, grandchildren, Jenny, William, Asia, Faith, and Hope; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
