Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Kaye Reynaud, 71, of Hughes Springs, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Janet Kaye Reynaud, a beloved wife, mother and Nonna, was met with open arms in heaven on August 11, 2025, by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Kaye was born on November 5, 1953, in Button Hollow, California, to John and Mary Bell Turner. She was the youngest of 8 children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul Reynaud, her son Brian Reynaud, her brothers, Milburn Turner, Dale Turner, G. W. Turner, her sisters Rosa Lee Jones West, Jane Comstock, Mary Ann Vance. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Golden (Brandon Golden), of Hughes Springs; grandchildren, Shelby Moore (Jake Moore), Garrett Golden (Meagan Golden), Sadie Golden, Kayla Tefteller (Andy Tefteller), Collan Hays (Tanah Hays); great grandchildren, Emmett Moore, Wyatt Moore, Lyndon Tefteller, Emberson and Maylynn Hays; her brother, Jay Turner (Cindy Turner) of Tyler, and many nieces and nephews.

She attended high school in Dierks, AR and was always a hard worker. She worked many jobs over the years, picked her fair share of cotton, and was working as a waitress when she met the love of her life, Paul Anthony Reynaud. They were married on June 8, 1973, and remained married for 52 years. In 1980, they settled down and moved to Hughes Springs, Texas, where they raised their two children, Brian and Jennifer. She took care of her family before all else, and had a part in raising all of her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. She loved the Lord with all of her heart, and anyone who met her could see that.

The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers, Sherry "Cha Cha" Thomas and Gail Hartfield, for loving her and taking care of all of her needs.
