Betty J. Reynaud, age 87, of Erie, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025. She was born in Erie on October 23, 1937, daughter of the late Mike and Mary Bules.

Betty enjoyed all crafts and time spent with her club of St. Benedict High School friends. She also enjoyed reading, a bag of Cheetos, watching golf on TV and good conversations with her brothers, Dave and Jack Bules and sister, Maryann McClinton. One year, with failing eye sight, Betty crocheted 50 blankets for the veterans at the Soldiers and Sailors Home. She involved the great-grandchildren in passing them out at Christmas. It's a great memory of our mom. She always made us all a homemade gift of love every Christmas.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Glowacki; second husband, Leo Reynaud; two brothers, Mike Bules and George Bules; sister, Frances Hofmann; and a son-in-law, Tony Flagella. She is survived by her children, Viola Flagella, Karen Barnes (Gary) and Christopher Reynaud (Lisa); three stepchildren, Heather, Holly and Leo Reynaud; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Jackson, Angela Mann (Gary), Jenifer Flagella (Tiff), Tara Barnes, and Michael Barnes. She was blessed to have nine great-grandchildren, whom she loved to hear stories about what they were doing.

Friends may call at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, 837 Bartlett Road, on Thursday, August 14th, from 1 pm until the time of the Funeral Mass at 2 pm. A private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Condolences may be sent to www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.

I´m sad to learn that Aunt Betty is gone. She was such a wonderful woman and, even though we lived many miles away, she touched my life and the lives of my children with her kindness (and her skilled quilting and embroidery skills, too ). My sincere condolences to my cousins, as well as Aunt Betty´s sister and brothers. My love to you all.
