Janet Ann Saver

Janet Ann Saver, Age 91 of Shoreview, MN died August 16th, 2023 after her struggle with cancer.
Jan grew up in a family of thirteen on Armstrong Street off of West 7th in St. Paul. In her high school years she was the student council vice president, played basketball and was crowned homecoming queen.
Jan married Gerald Saver right out of high school and started her own family of eleven. She settled in Shoreview Minnesota and remained there the rest of her life. Jan was a stay at home mom until her fifties when she took a job at Tyson Truck Lines where she worked until she retired.
When her husband passed in 1995 she found comfort in being with her kids and was surrounded by them literally at all times. She enjoyed going out for long walks with her kids and also enjoyed her alone time. She loved to celebrate all holidays, which was no wonder being she was born on the 4th of July. She took pleasure in being with her grandchildren, great grandchild and watching them grow up. We will cherish our memories of her and she will be dearly missed by her children and all that knew her.
Janet Ann Saver is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Wilbur Saver, sons Michael Jay Saver, Rick Patrick Saver and Timothy Thomas Saver.
Janet is survived by her children: Debra Jean Tyson, Michael Ray Saver, Cynthia Marie Saver and her husband, Timothy Fitzgerald, Thomas Jay Saver, Gerald William Saver, Donald Ray Saver and his wife Lina, Sheri Ann Schlemmer and her husband James, Wendy Marie Keran and her husband Christopher; granddaughter, Megan; grandsons, Matt, Tommy, Tony, Dusty, Jesse, Daniel and Gene; great grandson, Leo; and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of her life will take place 4pm – 7pm Monday, August 28th at Holcomb-Henry-Boom-Purcell Funeral Home, 515 Hwy 96 W., Shoreview
