Paula Diana Saver

PAULA DIANA "POLLY" SAVER, 69, of Weirton WV passed away Saturday morning, January 24th, 2026 at Trinity Medical Center in Steubenville OH. Born March 27, 1956 in Canton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Margie and Paul McCully. She was preceded in death by her sisters Linda Kelly and Darlene McCue and her ex-husband Edwin Saver.

Paula was a graduate of Carrollton High School, Class of 1974. She then went on to attend Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1977. She worked as a registered nurse for many years, mostly at Weirton Medical Center as an Intravenous Therapist. Paula loved nothing more than helping and caring for others and spent much of her time doing just that. She was an avid Steelers fan and in her free time enjoyed crossword puzzles, listening to music, and tending to her flowers and beloved pets, Apollo and Lizzie. Paula was a devout Christian and active member of Mercy Baptist Church.

Paula is survived by her son, Adam Saver of Weirton WV, daughter Ashley Saver of Gainesville FL, sister Cindy Dorsey of Canton OH, brother Paul McCully Jr. of Carrollton OH, and significant other Kevin Ward of Weirton WV.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, January 27, from 1-3pm and 5-7pm, with the funeral service at 7pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, with Pastor Marlin Hawley presiding.
