Janet D. Schave, 65, passed Tuesday, September 2, 2025, unexpectedly at her home.
She was born January 12, 1960 in Milwaukee.
Janet worked as an assembler for a majority of her life until she no longer could. After stepping away from her work, she spent her time watching her grandkids grow up. Janet enjoyed feeding the birds, hummingbirds especially. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to her friend, Wendy Zeka, watering her flowers. If Janet wasn't at home relaxing and watching the birds, watering flowers, or spending time with her grandkids, you could find her with her daughter and friend, Heather Tulickas, watching a live band. Janet will be loved and missed by many.
Survivors include her children, Nikita Schave and Daniel Peterson (Brittany Brewer). Grandchildren Taylin Peterson, Madden Peterson, and Meryck Finck. Her siblings, David Lake (Penny), Douglas Lake (Jenny), and Debbie Kimpel. Along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Maus and father, Joseph Lake and daughter, Michelle Peterson.
No services will be held at this time.
