Janet Setters Obituary
Janet Sue Brown Setters, age 78 of Union, KY passed away on January 19, 2026. Janet was born on May 8, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Chester Brown and Geneva Isaacs Brown. She retired after many years of dedicated service as a bank teller. Janet was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed his music throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Randall Dewey Setters, and her brothers, Kenny Brown and Jackie Brown. She is survived by her loving children, Raetta Setters, and Brian (Becky) Setters, her cherished grandchildren Bridgette and Brady Setters, her sister, Judy Black; and her brother, Larry (Pam) Brown. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Hwy 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042. Burial will take place at Big Bone Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Janet's memory to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229. We were blessed to know Janet, her smile will be forever embedded in my heart. She served faithfully at work, at church and her community. Her love of gospel music and Elvis was evident in her life, I'm sure she is singing with Elvis around the throne. Praying for all of you, but thankful for the promise of seeing her again.
