She is predeceased by her parents, Bernice and George Cubbison of Long Beach, California, husband William "Bill" Small, son-in-law Chuck Davis (Joanie) and great grandson John C Marsh-Vakos of Virginia Beach.
Janet was born in Long Beach, California on April 14, 1932, and married Bill on June 17, 1950. She proudly supported Bill through his Naval career which included Commander of the 6th Fleet, Vice Chief of Naval Operations and NATO Commander-in-Chief Allied Forces Southern Europe.
The family will have a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
A special thanks to Minowtie Gabriel, her devoted caregiver, for her many years of friendship and love.
