Janet (Apuzzo) Smith, 77, of West Hartland, CT, died March 13, 2025. She was born December 14, 1947, and was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph Smith and her parents Dominic J and Ann (Lawrence) Apuzzo.
She was a graduate of NWCC and attended UConn studying animal sciences. She was a CT licensed wildlife rehabilitator employed by the State of Connecticut for 18 years with the Department of Agriculture. She was also employed by SNET for 26 years.
She leaves behind her brothers, nieces, and nephew as well her daughter Lisel, granddaughter Marilyn and great granddaughter Anna. She is remembered by many friends and members of the Riverton Congregational Church. A church service will be held in the future at the family's convenience.

The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
