Janet Weeks, age 81, of Rogersville, passed away February 17, 2025. She was born April 1, 1943 in Lamar, Missouri, the daughter of Raymond and Anna (Thompson) Godfrey.
On February 21, 1964, Janet was united in marriage to Robert Weeks. Robert preceded Janet in death on August 25, 2017.
Janet was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering at Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 7628 in Ozark. She enjoyed going to flea markets, reading, crafting, and watching old westerns. Janet loved to visit with people and could make a friend easily.
Survivors include: four grandchildren Shelby Winslow Tate and husband Ryan, and Laddie, Celessa and Jocelyn Shanks; great grandchildren, Reagan and Reese Tate; and numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
In addition to her husband, Janet was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Bobbie Winslow, daughter, Becky Shanks and husband Jimmy.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Les Day officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery, south of Ozark. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. immediately before the funeral in the funeral home.
