Janette Robbins, age 90, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the Fair Haven Home in Forest City.
Janette was born Monday, September 3, 1934 in Rutherford County to the late Belton Robbins and Rena Splawn Robbins. She faithfully worked for Stonecutter Mill for over thirty years and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Janette loved each one of her family members dearly. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her best friend and sister, Carol.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Robbins and Carol Leverett and a brother, Barney Robbins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Melinda Davis (Charles) of Rutherfordton; grandchildren, Brandon Davis (Heather) and Alicia Whiteside (David); great-grandchildren, Kyson Whiteside, Avia Whiteside, Lily Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 15th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Tim Frashier officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
