Janette Kaye Thompson, "Little Bit" 63, of Selma, NC, passed away Tuesday morning at UNC Johnston. Janette was born in Johnston County, July 24, 1960. She was the daughter to the late Willie Eddie Thompson and Edna Capps Thompson Sanders. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers; Willie Harold Thompson and Arlon Glenn Thompson.
Janette enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. "Little Bit" was the owner of the Pit Stop in Smithfield for many years. She worked at C&K Components and at the Shell Station in Selma.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 6:00 pm Thursday, December 21st in the Casey Funeral & Cremations Chapel with the Reverend Johnny DeCorte' officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations. A private burial will be held on Friday at the Thompson Cemetery.
She is survived by many cousins.
