Janice Arnoldy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lyons Funeral Home on Jun. 5, 2024.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Janice J. Arnoldy, 88, of Danvers. Janice passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024, surrounded by family. She was predeceased by the love of her life, John N. Arnoldy.
Janice is survived by her sons, Mark Arnoldy and his wife Susan of Danvers and Jack Arnoldy of Danvers. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren: Mark and his wife Rauvin, Courtney, and Ashley Arnoldy. Janice also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchild, Cyrus Johl Arnoldy, who brought her boundless joy in her final months.
Although a Peabody Tanner at heart, Janice proudly embraced the spirit of a Danvers Falcon. She left an indelible mark as the secretary to the athletic directors at Danvers High School for many years. Her dedication and spirit deeply touched the community she held so dear.
Above all else, Janice lived for her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Being a Nana was her favorite role, and she excelled in it with immense love and care. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she exemplified the epitome of a devoted and loving Nana.
Janice will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, dedication, and community spirit will continue to inspire everyone who was fortunate enough to have been part of her life.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10AM-10:45AM. In leu of flowers, donations in Janice's memory may be made to Sweet Paws Rescue, reflecting Janice's love of animals, especially her grand-puppies Mia, Enzo, and Ace. Donations may be made via Venmo @Sweetpaws-Rescue, online at SweetPawsRescue.org, or via mail to Sweet Paws Rescue, 310 Main St., Groveland, MA 01834.
