Janice A. Austin

Janice A. Austin, age 86, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 in Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Barry Saylor will celebrate the service. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 noon at the church. Entombment will be held following the service at Forest Hill Mausoleum in Wisconsin Rapids.
Janice was born on May 12, 1939 in Wausau, WI to the late Patrick and Isabelle (Rodesch) McGuire. She married Joseph E. Austin on April 12, 1958 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in In Wisconsin Rapids. Professionally, Janice was a cashier for Shopko in Wisconsin rapids for many years. In her spare time, Janice enjoyed reading, quilting, and watching the Packers and Brewers. Above all else, Janice enjoyed spending time with her husband, Joe, and the rest of her family.
Janice is survived by her husband, Joe Austin; children, Jeff (Mary Lou) Austin, and Jerry (Kim) Austin; grandchildren, Sam (Adam) Beyer, Jake (Maddy) Austin, Bobby (Hannah) Austin, and Becca Austin (Andrew Walker);and great-grandchildren, Joey, Patrick, Damien, and Theo.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents.
