Janice Bone Obituary
Born on April 27, 1946, in Chicago, Janice was the first of five children of George and Irene Bodnar. She grew up in Brookfield, IL, attended Riverside-Brookfield HS and went on to earn a BS in Education from ISU.
She married Ralph Bone in 1988, and together they built a life filled with travel, good food, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Janice worked for Carson Pirie Scott for thirty-two years in human resources and received recognition for her work many times over the years.
She loved a good book, cooking, baking, cross stitching, earrings, ping pong and will be remembered for her celebratory cakes and her generosity to those in need.
Her memory will be cherished by her brother Ron Bodnar, sisters Karen Bodnar, and Pamela McIntire. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Irene Bodnar, and her brother Glenn Bodnar.
Services will be private; a celebration of life is being planned for later next year
