Janice Clingerman

Janice Ilene Clingerman, 77, of Kimmel, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her home surrounded with family. Born September 13, 1945 in South Whitley, she was the daughter of Dale and Maxine (Shriver) Reichard.
She graduated from Larwill High School with the Class of 1963. On November 3, 1963, she married Tony Clingerman Sr. in Columbia City. Janice worked at Pence Dry Cleaners in Columbia City and then at Alcoils for 10 years. She then worked for Kroger's and in 1981she became a sales rep for Bil-Mar Foods. In 2003 she went to work for Tree of Life/Gourmet Awards Food. Janice retired to stay home and take care of her mother before she passed. Janice was a member of First Church of God in Columbia City. She and Tony had lived in Etna-Troy Township until 1997 when they moved to Noble County.
Janice is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Tony Clingerman Sr.; children, Dede (Bill) Duvall, Tony (Katie) Clingerman Jr. and Candy (Kirk) Little; grandchildren, Michael (Crissa Renee) Fowler, Amanda (James) Schinbeckler and Ryan Clingerman; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Randall (Donna) Reichard and Richard (Michelle) Reichard. She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Maxine Reichard; and brother, Larry Reichard.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2023 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be 10 am Friday at First Church of God, 1200 W Depoy Dr, Columbia City with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Johnny McCallister will be officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in memory to Parkview Noble Hospice.
