Janice Gail Riley Comstock, 84, passed away on October 31, 2023, in Georgetown, TN. Jan was born on August 27, 1939 to Herbert Gratus Riley and Virgie Christell Overby Riley in Golo, KY. Jan was married to John Paul Comstock on November 11, 1961. Jan was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and Nana that loved all her family dearly. Jan was a painter, gardener, avid book reader, and loved Elvis. Jan is preceded in death by her father Gratus Riley and mother Christell Riley. Jan is survived by her dedicated, loving husband of 62 years, John Comstock; her daughters: Angela Weeks(Philip) of Paducah, KY; Christell Oden of Cleveland, TN; Diana Boling(Michael) of Calhoun, GA; Beth Duckett(Larry) of Georgetown, TN; her grandchildren: Ryan Oden(Megan), Coty Murphy(Erin), Jennifer Doub(Jacob), Savana Allison, Johnny Brown(Daisy), Joshua Boling, Dakota Weeks, Keith Brown, Olivia Murphy(Zac), Zackary Riley Boling(Hailey), and Nathan Brown; and her great-grandchildren: Kylei, Payton, Sophia, Kaylen, Scarlet, Dexter, Leo, Everett, Madilyn, and Trace.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2pm to 5pm at Companion Funeral & Creamation, 2415 Georgetown Rd, Cleveland, TN 37311.
The family will hold a private ceremony at her final rest in Calloway County, KY.
