Janice Disbennett Obituary
Janice Marie Disbennett, 68, of Nicholson, Ga, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025.
Born on October 16, 1956, in Royston, GA, Janice was the daughter of the late Roy Howell and Veldia Laurine Blackburn Howell. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Missy Melinda Minish, and her brother, Roy Howell. Janice's family deeply loved her and cherished their time together.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 24 years, Brian Disbennett; her children, Jeffrey Howell, Jan (Jacob) Ricker, Mandy McManus, and Andy (Jennifer) Minish; her stepchildren, Steven Minish, Nancy (Chris) DeVan, Elizabeth (Allen) Kidd, and Kalyn (Jay) Miller; her 21 grandchildren; and her eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Bonnie (Steve) Cowart, and brother, Wendell Howell.
The family will receive friends 1 pm Friday, Jan. 31, 2025 until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday, Jan. 31, 2025 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date at Jackson memorial Gardens.
