Janice Marie Dorn, De Pere, passed away on July 16, 2022. Jan was born to Joseph Kubiak and Arlene Boehm-Kubiak in Green Bay on March 4th, 1939. She was an only child and spent majority of her childhood with her grandparents Thomas and Sophie Boehm.
Jan married the love of her life, John Dorn on Dec. 26, 1971 at Nativity Parish. They were soulmates and traveled the world over, enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, fishing and dancing the polka. John and Jan were Eucharistic Ministers and also ushers at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in De Pere.
Her favorite things to enjoy were, traveling, fishing, cooking, eating out, sending, and receiving greeting cards and all the holidays especially Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Jan is survived by children, Laurie Ann (Tom) Allen, René Marie Fuller; grandchildren, Brad (Jami) Spates, Jenny (Matt) Van Der Linden, Holly Spates (fiancé Brian Lowry), Amber (Chris) Kuptz and Jason Fuller. She is further survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Dorn, by her son Kris and also by her parents, Joseph Kubiak and Arlene Boehm-Kubiak.
Family and friends may visit at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida Street, Green Bay. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Matt Simonar officiating. Entombment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
