Janice Dye, 38 of Albany, passed away Thursday evening at the scene of the 3-car accident on Highway 34. Janice was born in Klamath Falls but grew up in Kent, Washington. She graduated from Kentwood High School, Class of 1995. She is survived by her son, Jaxon James Magee, who was the beacon of her life. Baby Jaxon was her world and being his mother was the highlight of her life. She is also survived by her parents, John and Judy (Karow) Dye; as well as sister, Jenifer "Nici" Dye-Ledbetter (her husband, Jim); brother, Jeff Dye; niece, Jacee Dye-Ledbetter; and fiancé, Brian Magee. Janice is also survived by Mickalya & Brian Magee III. A memorial is being planned for a later date.

Janice was a great person, friend and boss. I worked with her at jack and she inspired me to move up in life. I think about her daily and miss her.
