Janice Lucille Nashwinter Atchison Engle, 83, of Howard, passed away Friday March 17th, 2023 at University Hospital in Columbus OH.
Janice was born October 24th, 1939, in Philipsburg, PA to Harold Leopold and Thelma Leola {Valimont} Nashwinter.
She married Wm Ross Atchison April 23rd, 1960 who passed away October 6, 1992 then Chester Lynn Engle on May 29th, 1993 who passed away November 18th, 2022.
She worked as a bookkeeper for United Precast for many years and retired in 1995. She was a full-time wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother. A member of St Luke Catholic church in Danville, she liked to read, crocheting, cooking, baking, camping, travel, and spending time with family.
Janice will be deeply missed by her children Mary Beth Atchison of Westerville, James (Billie) Atchison of Ocala, FL, Thomas (Angel) Atchison of Westerville, Chester (Mary) Engle Jr; grandchildren Lynn (James) Spivey, Katie Franks, Jen (Dan) Moody, Joel Atchison, Michael Franks, Ashley Atchison, Ross Atchison, Chester (Meredith) Engle III, Jacob (Rachele) Engle, Olivia (Jon) Engle Verzilli; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Donna Kellick of Niagara Falls, NY and Mary Kay Reilly of Lewes, DE.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands.
A graveside service will be at Mound View Cemetery at a later date. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio and St Jude Hospital.
