Janice (Robinson) Erickson
Jan was born Nov 13, 1939 to Walter and Annie Robinson (Pawelke) in rural Eau Claire County.
She attended Northbranch School and Eleva-Strum High School.
In 1961 she married David P. Erickson at First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.
Jan worked for 25 years as a teacher's aide in the Eau Claire public elementary school system. She loved her home in Sun City, AZ and enjoyed many hours walking in the pool with her girlfriends and playing weekly bingo games.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, David, daughter Brenda (Erickson) Douthit (Jack), Kim (Erickson) Wogernese (Mark) and her brother Leonard Robinson. Grandchildren John & Jared Douthit and Dylan & Alyssa Wogernese. Sisters-in-law Diane Campbell and Sue Erickson. Many wonderful nieces & nephews.
Jan was preceded in death by Paul & Thelma Erickson, Irene Franson (Alvin), Warren Robinson (Charolette), Doris Fletschock (Riley), Gordon Robinson, Ruth Hasart (Alvin), Josie Robinson, and Donald Erickson.
Jan had knee replacement surgery. Unfortunately, she encountered complications related to Covid during her recovery. Despite her courage and determination, she peacefully departed October 20, surrounded by the love of her family.
As per her wishes, no services will be held. Please share happy memories of her as you gather with family and friends.
We love you Jan (Mom-Grandma). Rest in Peace.
