Janice Grabowski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care - Palm Bay on May 13, 2025.
Janice Marlene Grabowski, 76, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on May 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted mother of five, a cherished grandmother, and a beloved great-grandmother. Janice's sudden departure has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of all who knew her.
Janice was the heart of her family – selfless, kind, and endlessly supportive. She dedicated her life to ensuring the happiness and well-being of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. Her love was unconditional, and her strength was unmatched.
She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Elaine Collins; her children, Shannon (Gidget) Major, Melissa "Missy" Grabowski, Angelene "Angel" Washburn, William "Billy" (Alicia) Grabowski, and Eric (Cathy) Grabowski; her many grandchildren; and her energetic great-grandson, who brought her immense joy.
Janice had a deep love for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She had a special affinity for owls, as they symbolized wisdom and keen observation. Known for her perceptive nature, she was often likened to an owl herself. She always knew what was going on, even when we didn't think so, just ask her boys. Janice had a green thumb and found solace in gardening, particularly tending to her beloved desert roses.
Janice's greatest joy in life was her family. She found happiness in the laughter and love shared among her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. She was beyond proud of her granddaughter Cheyenne Makayla Wolf Washburn's pursuit of a career in the US Navy. Janice's legacy of love, wisdom, and nurturing care will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Calvary Chapel of Melbourne (2955 Minton Road, West Melbourne, FL 32904) from 5-7PM. All are welcome to attend.
Janice will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the unwavering love, strength, and the profound impact she had on those around her. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends for generations to come.
