Janice Koehler Obituary

Janice was born in Washington on October 11, 1955, a daughter of the late Trula Hughes Calloway and Stokes Calloway. She was the widow of James Koehler.
She is survived by a son, Nathan Ledford of Inman, two brothers, Terry Calloway and Tim Calloway, both of Avery County, North Carolina; three sisters, Patricia Allen of Texas, Lisa Davis of Burke County, North Carolina, Trina Johnson of Avery County, North Carolina; a grandson, Dylan Ledford of Marion, North Carolina; Nathan's dad, Larry Ledford of Marion, North Carolina; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a sister, Brenda Biddix.
She worked several years at SEW Eurodrive and later at Perfect Solutions Staffing before retiring. She was a Baptist and enjoyed time spent watching wild birds and working in her flowers that attracted them.
A memorial service will be planned and announced later.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Your Local Humane Society.
