Janice Lynn Liverman, a cherished soul whose warmth and dedication to her family, career, and passions left an indelible mark on all who knew her, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, in Austin, Texas. Born on February 2, 1946, in Dallas, Texas, Janice's journey began as a bright light in the lives of her late parents, Genevieve McNeely Guillory and Buddy Gandy.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Krickett Hancock; her son, Daniel Dardeau; and her granddaughter, Ella Dardeau. She is also survived by her brother, George Bostock; her sisters, Crystal Miller and Sherry Jordan; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
A proud Texan through and through, Janice's early years in Dallas laid the foundation for a life characterized by determination and a deep love for her community. She carried these values forward as she pursued her education at Longview High School, followed by further studies at Kilgore College. Her thirst for knowledge and personal growth led her to the University of Texas at Austin, where she expanded her horizons and prepared for a future full of possibilities.
Janice's professional life was marked by a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit. As a Realtor, she helped countless families find their dream homes, guiding them with her expertise and genuine care. Her entrepreneurial journey didn't stop there; she became the proud owner of Plant Professional & Interior Scapes, where her creativity and passion for nature flourished. Her business not only beautified spaces but also created a sanctuary for those seeking solace in the beauty of plants and greenery.
Her devotion to her work was paralleled only by her unwavering faith. Her faith was her compass, guiding her through life's challenges and celebrations alike.
Janice's interests were as vibrant and varied as the gardens she loved to tend. An avid gardener, she had a special talent for nurturing life in all its forms. Her home was a haven for the many birds and marsupials she raised with care and affection. Janice's love for animals knew no bounds, and she became a beloved figure in the animal lovers' community, sharing her knowledge and compassion with others.
Her legacy is not merely in the plants that continue to grow or the animals that thrive but in the lives she touched with her generosity and spirit. Janice's absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, yet her influence will continue to bloom in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her.
As the sun sets on a life so beautifully lived, we bid farewell to Janice Lynn Liverman, a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering kindness. Her memory will be cherished, and her life celebrated as we hold her close in our thoughts and in the legacy she leaves behind. Janice's journey on this earth has concluded, but her story - one of love, dedication, and the joy she found in the natural world - will continue to inspire and comfort us all
