Janice R. Marino

Janice R. (Dello Iacono) Marino passed away peacefully, supported by the love of her family at the Maine Medical Center on December 2nd. Raised in Winchester, Janice was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Louise (Pescione) Dello Iacono.

Janice graduated from Winchester High School and with additional preparation embarked on a career lasting over 50 years as a hairdresser and cosmetician. She built a large and loyal clientele who trusted her from her early days at a shop on Winter Hill. Her Main Street salon in Medford was a mainstay for so many people. Janice was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She spent much of her childhood at Alton Bay on Lake Winnipesauke, where her parents operated the famed Dello's Lodge. Janice lived with her parents and cared for them in their retirement. She loved time with her family and enjoyed the beauty of nature on hikes and strolls along the beach. Janice cherished time with her grand-daughters whether it be lazy days at the beach or frequent shopping excursions.

The beloved mother of Jenine Wright and her husband Brian, Janice was a loving grandmother to Dylann and Madison Wright. Janice was the dear sister of the late Ralph Dello Iacono. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, God-children, friends and acquaintences with whom she shared the deepest of affection.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford on Friday, December 12th from 3 -7 PM with a funeral service conducted in the funeral home at 6:30 PM.
