Ralph Anthony Maffeo, Jr., of Medford, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8th, 2025. Ralph was the beloved husband of Virginia (Lambert) Maffeo; loving and devoted father of the late Michael Maffeo formerly of Everett; David Maffeo and his wife Michelle of Medford, and his namesake Ralph Maffeo III and his wife Cintia, of Henderson, NV. Ralph was the proud and loving "Papa/Guppa" to Kimberly, Zack, Belle, and Cole. Ralph leaves behind his cherished great-grandchildren Sophie, Tyler, and Madison. He was the loving son of the late Ralph and Catherine (Gallagher) Maffeo; brother of Joseph Maffeo and the late Dorothy (Maffeo) Donofrio and her husband Ralph Donofrio; and brother- in- law of Joyce Demattia, and Barbara and Elmer King. Ralph also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends. His presence will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have him in their lives.

Ralph was born on September 20, 1942, in Everett MA. Raised in Medford where he graduated Medford High School and later went on to a career with the United States Postal Service. Ralph lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an extraordinary heart of gold. He was known for his sense of humor, bringing smiles and joy to everyone around him. He shared a lifelong, devoted love with his beloved wife, Virginia affectionately known as Ginny. He often said that he could not have made it through the years without her. Their bond was the cornerstone of his happiness. Ralph's legacy of kindness, humor, and love will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire and comfort us all.
