Janice Lynne Masingale, 71, of Englewood, entered into Paradise on December 18, 2025.

Janice was a graduate of McMinn Central High School, where she met the love of her life, Roger Masingale. She married her high school sweetheart in 1972 shortly after graduation, beginning a lifelong partnership rooted in love and devotion. Janice retired from the Athens Utility Board, where she served faithfully in customer service and was known for her kindness and dedication.

Above all else, Janice's life revolved around her family. The sun truly rose and set with those she loved, and she especially cherished her role as "Nana" to her grandchildren. Her love, warmth, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Preceded in death by her father, Archie Blair; father and mother in-law, Dillard and Mamie Lou Masingale; her favorite brother in-law, Paul Derrick.

Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Roger Masingale; sons, Brian (Monica) Masingale and Brent (Carly) Masingale; grandchildren, Bryar (Autumn) Masingale, Cole (Jessica) Masingale, Samuel Masingale, Gabe Masingale, Molly Masingale, Malea Masingale, Zac Masingale, Zeb Masingale, and Mallory Masingale; great grandchildren, Eden Masingale, Josie Masingale, Birch Masingale, Reed Masingale, Marion Masingale, and soon to be another great grandson; mother, Betty Jo Blair; sister and best friend, Jeannette Derrick; brother, Steve (Kay) Blair; many nieces, nephews and other loved family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 1:00pm at Liberty Hill Church of Christ in Englewood, TN. A Visitation will be held prior from 11:00am - 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations to be made to The Ronald McDonald House in Janice's memory.
