Janice Kay Morrison

Janice Kay Morrison, 76, of Rittman, Ohio, passed away at home on August 3, 2025.

Born on October 16, 1948, in East Lynn, West Virginia, Janice was the beloved daughter of Joseph Terry and Mary McComas. She lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and deep devotion to her family and God as a proud baptized Christian.

Janice attended Rittman High School and worked tirelessly throughout her life, spending 29 years at Rubbermaid in Wooster, Ohio as a Production Supervisor, and later retiring from Myers Industries in Wadsworth, Ohio after 12 years of dedicated service as a warehouse worker. Her work ethic and steady presence left a lasting impression on her coworkers and friends.

Janice was a loving mother to four children: her daughter, Djuna Pamer of Rittman; and three sons, Bradley (Michele) Adams of Wadsworth; Michael (Anna) Gluck of Wadsworth; Matthew (Jessica) Gluck of McChord Air Force Base, Washington; and was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Rachel, Adam, Jordyn, Sean, Brendan, Mariana and Soren; and eight great-grandchildren with one on the way, all of whom were the joy of her life. Her family was the center of her world, and her warmth, wisdom, and kindness will remain with them always.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved siblings: sisters Betty Justice of Phyllis, Kentucky; Lisa Hartman of Wadsworth; Peggy Kenaga of Conway, South Carolina; and her brother, Danny Terry of Wadsworth.

Janice will be remembered for her unwavering love, her gentle spirit, and the comfort she brought to everyone around her. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, Ohio, on Thursday, August 7 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed immediately by a short, onsite funeral service to honor her life. Per her wishes, her remains will be cremated and buried at Rittman Cemetery at a later date.

Her legacy of love and strength lives on in the hearts of those who knew her.
