Janice Mumm Obituary
Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Monday, December 8, 2025, * with visitation starting at 11:00am,* at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD.
Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Feuerhelm, Ross Feuerhelm, Spencer Lindner, Tucker Mumm, Jason Maag and Kevin Maag.
Janice Ann Isaacson Mumm was born on July 10, 1941 to Ernest and Mercedes (Nelson) Isaacson in Lake Norden, South Dakota. When Janice was a sophomore the family moved to Hayti, South Dakota for her father's work. She graduated from Hayti High School in 1959.
She met Ronald Mumm and they were married on August 11, 1962 in Hayti. Janice was a farm wife; and would help the neighbors pick potatoes and she also did some babysitting.
She loved to play cards with the neighbors, hosting card parties with each neighbor taking turns hosting.
On October 1, 2024 Janice entered Jenkins Living Center where she resided until her transfer to Prairie Lakes Hospital on Hospice.
Grateful for having shared in Janice's life are her husband, Ronald; her daughter, Barb (Ron) Feuerhelm of Watertown, SD; her son, Brian (Tina) Mumm of Watertown, SD; six grandchildren, Brandon Feuerhelm of Sioux Falls, SD, Ross Feuerhelm of Watertown, SD, Spencer Lindner of Florence, SD, Kennidy Lindner of Woodlake, MN, Tucker Mumm of Watertown, SD and Lilly Mumm of Watertown, SD.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mercedes; her parents-in-law, Peter and Lillian Mumm; and her one brother, Elwood Isaacson.
