Janice Ann Murray, 74, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 12, 2025. She was born on February 1, 1950 to the late Wallace and Alice Harden. She loved gardening, flowers, she enjoyed taking trips with her sister. No matter what she was going through, she was always thinking of others first. "I'm fine, but how are you?"
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Bobby Rice, Lake Harden, and Anita Mclain.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 59 years, Garry Murray; children: Dale Murray (Tina), Sherry Murray (Joe Little), Terrie Holmes (Richie); grandchildren: Steven Rogers (Erica), Ryan Murray, Alisha Murray, Tyler Murray, Cortnie Holmes, Kara Holmes, and Gabbi Little; great grandchildren: Tatum Murray, Tanner Murray, Parker Rogers, Jaycen Ball, Jordan Rogers, Sarah Ball, and Maverick Rogers; and sister, Jane Carter. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
Janice's family will receive friends on Thursday January 16th from 2pm until 4pm at the "Ridge Chapel" of Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of Janice's life following the visitation at 4pm with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at Murray Cemetery.
Tyler Murray, Steven Rogers,Ryan Murray, Tanner Murray, Jaycen Ball, Parker Rogers, and Jordan Rogers will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank Charter Senior Living and Hearth Hospice for all of their outstanding care given to our loved one.
