Janice was born on Thursday, January 31, 1946, in Childersburg, AL, a daughter of the late Henry Crawford Allen and Maybell Shaw Allen. She had been married to William Clifford Ricks who preceded her in death.
Left to cherish Janice's memory are two sons, William S. Ricks and Joel Scott Spires, two daughters, Angela Danyell Milam and Donna Marie Milam Smith, two sisters, Dorine Honeycutt and Darise Mezick, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Janice in death besides her parents and husband were six brothers.
Janice attended the schools of Alabama and had served with the United State Army.
Janice's request for cremation will be honored.
