Janice Blanche Steib

Janice B. Steib, beloved sister, lifelong educator, and cherished friend, passed away on November 18, 2025. With a passion for learning and a heart dedicated to others, Janice spent 46 years teaching and serving as both a social studies teacher and a librarian at Grace King High School. She made a lasting impact on generations of students through her kindness, patience, and genuine love for education. Janice lived her life with curiosity and joy. She traveled the world, made lasting friendships, and embraced every experience with her warm smile. She was always there for those she loved, offering support, laughter, and a comforting presence.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Janice's legacy of love, generosity, and dedication will live on in the many lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and Prayer Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on Monday, December 1, 2025. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m.
