Janice Marie Waricher, 91, of Carlisle, passed away on October 13th, 2025.
Born at home in Carlisle, on March 12th, 1934, Janice is the daughter of the late George and Hazel Beltzhoover.
Janice is survived by her son, Michael Waricher (Jennifer Murray), her sisters, Bonnie Kuhns (Parker), Delores Morrow, Carole Beltzhoover, and Kay Kaylor, her brother, Richard Beltzhoover (Linda), and various nieces and nephews. Janice is also survived by her caretaker of 12 years, who was also her husband's caretaker, Jennifer Foreman.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years, George Waricher, her brother-in-law, Dale Morrow, and her brother-in-law, Elwood Kaylor.
Janice resided in Carlisle all of her life. She graduated from Carlisle High School in the class of 1953. After high school, she worked as a switchboard operator for United Telephone. She then went on to work as an executive assistant for the Cumberland County Controller's Office up until her retirement in the late 1990's. Her parents and family were well known for owning the Beltzhoover's Food Market in Carlisle.
Janice and George were members of Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, crafts, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed the holidays with her family.
In accordance with Janice's wishes, there will not be any services or visitation. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
