Janie Glover Obituary
Benson, NC: Mrs. Janie Mae Norris Glover, age 83, of Elevation Road died Sunday, July 13, 2025 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Services will be 11:00AM Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Hodges Chapel PFWB Church Cemetery in Benson. Officiating will be her family.
Mrs. Glover was born on February 17, 1942 in Sampson County to the late Joe and Iva Tanner Norris. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Charles Glover; a son, Carl Glover; daughters, Jo Ann Carroll and Vicki Lee; sisters, Doris Norris and Brenda Holland. Mrs. Glover retired from textiles working with the Cotton Mill in Erwin, NC.
Surviving is her son, Randy Glover and wife, Tammy; son-in-law, A. W. Lee; grandchildren, Cary Carroll and wife, Summer, Perry Carroll and wife, Amanda, Tammy Dudley and husband, Jeff, Brandon Lee and wife, Kristy, Ashley Faircloth and husband, Jordan, and Emily Glover; great-grandchildren, Landon Dudley, Charley Carroll, Rylee Dudley, Colton Carroll, Raelyn Lee, Luke Faircloth and Dakota Lee; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends after the graveside service and other times at the home.
